Bin Li

Bin Li was born in March 1965. Mr. Li went to Beijing Normal College of Foreign Language in 1982. He studied English Language and Literature for 4 years and graduated with BA in 1986. In September 1992, Mr. Li went to the Institute of Development Economics under MITI in Tokyo, Japan and obtained postgraduate diploma in Developing Economies.

 In 1989, Mr. Li joined the State Development Planning Commission (SDPC) and started working in the Department of Foreign Affairs of the SDPC. In 2003, he served as the Deputy Director General of the Dept. Before that he was Deputy Division Chief in 1994 and Division Chief in 1999. Mr. Li was in charge of American affairs, European affairs and multilateral affairs during the past 10 years. He is especially familiar with China US economic cooperation and the US companies operating in China. In July 2011, Mr. Li was assigned as the Counselor for Economic Affairs of Chinese Embassy in the US.
